Back in November, I had the opportunity to shoot a cozy A-frame cabin elopement near Mount Rainier. Lauren Neely was the genius and mastermind for the Love and Wild styled shoot. As a growing photographer, I’ve learned that styled shoots offer a wonderful stage to expand my skill set and invest in my photography business.  There was a wonderful team of vendors that pitched in to make this shoot above and beyond anything I could have imagined. If you are recently engaged, I HIGHLY encourage you to reach out to these vendors to help out with your big day! You will NOT be disappointed. The team was both professional and kind-not to mention their work is incredible.

The Amazing Team:

Lauren crafted the whole day around community and fellowship. First, we met at Mountain Goat Coffee in Packwood, WA to eat lunch and drink coffee. Then, Lexi, led us through a yoga session before we started shooting. The best part-there were only five other attendees! Lauren had designed the workshop specifically to create this intimate setting. Many photographers preach “community over competition”. Lauren structured the workshop to put some meaning behind this statement. I can happily say I actually walked away knowing the other attendees names, their goals for next year, and as new friends.

I was thrilled to attend this A-frame cabin elopement at the very first For Love and Wild shoot! Lauren, I can’t wait to see what you do next!

Recently engaged? I want to stop and say CONGRATULATIONS!! Traditional wedding or cozy elopement- I’d love to talk more about serving as your photographer for your day.
