This Chambers Bay engagement shoot was shot on a warm and breezy summer night. We had perfect weather for the night-no rain, no thunderstorms, no unbearable heat index. It really was just a perfect summer evening for photos. It was actually Ashlee and Justin that came up with the idea to shoot at Chambers Bay. I had previously shot maternity and senior photos here but this would be the first opportunity to shoot at Chambers Bay for an engagement shoot.
Chambers Bay
Chambers Bay is located in University Place. It’s quite a lovely place to explore. Paved trails circle the golf course and dogs are welcome, too. If you don’t feel up for a stroll, you can always cross over the bridge and go down by the beach area. This is a great place to watch the sunset and maybe see a seal or two pop up in the water. There is also a huge field that sits right next to the lower parking lot (plenty of free parking, btw) where you could have a picnic, fly a kite, or just lounge for a few hours. Chambers Bay offers something for the whole family. Even better, it’s free!
Ashlee and Justin
I connected with Ashlee and Justin only months ago but it truly feels like we have been friends for a long time. I knew I would be truly blessed to work with them the first time we had the chance to connect over video chat,. They are the sweetest couple. They love each other, respect each other, and mostly importantly they love Jesus. You can tell both Ashlee and Justin seek to honor Christ in their words and actions. Throughout our time together, they have been the sweetest encouragement to me. I loved when they sent me my own invitation to their wedding and they even added a sweet personalized note to me. Every single action is done with such a gracious and kind spirit. I feel like I have been totally spoiled with Ashlee and Justin as clients. They make my job both easy and fun! I can’t wait to celebrate their beautiful marriage in October!
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer I’d love for you to reach out so we can start planning some magic!
