Kayla and Jerrott’s fairy-tale wedding at Thornewood Castle was an absolute dream. This venue is a 500-year-old Tudor Gothic home known as the house that love built. I was IN AWE when I came on site. And, this venue is just 15 minutes from my home and I had no idea it even existed! Not only is the home gorgeous, filled with intricacies, ornate details, and so many twists and turns but the grounds are to die for, too.
Ok, so moment of truth-I’m a huge DisneyWorld fan and my favorite ride is the Haunted House ride. It’s dark, spooky and fun and I love every minute. Thornewood Castle gave me all the Haunted House vibes when I first walked in. I wanted to explore every nook and cranny in that place! Every detail of this magnificent Tudor home is impeccable. An absolute perfect venue for a wedding. Kayla and Jerrott had their ceremony on the grounds outside the castle which is basically a plant lovers paradise. The flowers were every single color you could imagine and in full bloom! Honestly, the garden area was simply stunning. There were so many gates and archways to explore and take photos.
Kayla was the most beautiful bride I’ve ever seen. She looked like a QUEEN!! So, so, so, gorgeous-from her hair, to her make-up, to her stunning dress-everything was gorgeous! I couldn’t take my eyes (or camera) off her! She and Jerrott had so many friends and family supporting them on their special day. It was such a pleasure walking through this Tudor home and garden capturing their special day.
I want to stop and say thank you again to Gina Paulson for allowing my to second shoot this beautiful wedding. Gina is the bomb! For real-she is my inspiration and I loved working alongside her for this wedding! Thank you, Gina!
